DAY 1 Saturday 12th November Perth
Welcome to the beautiful city of Perth, where the Swan River meets the South West Coast. Enjoy your free time at the luxurious Duxton Hotel, or venture out to the waterfront to explore the beautiful surroundings. This evening meet your fellow travellers in the hotel foyer before our Welcome Dinner at a local Perth restaurant.

DAY 2 Sunday 13th November Perth
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before our day’s adventure. Escape the city today on a leisurely cruise into the upper regions of the Swan Valley. Enjoy morning tea and premium wine tasting onboard, followed by a unique behind the scenes tour of Sandalford Estate, including tasting and a delicious two course lunch. As you cruise back to Perth enjoy the included wine, desserts and live entertainment. After a busy day the evening is free, you can dine at the hotel or at any of the local restaurants nearby.

DAY 3 Monday 14th November Bunker Bay
We start our day with a short Perth City Tour, before visiting Kings Park to enjoy spectacular views of Perth. Enjoy a visit to the beautiful city of Busselton, where you can stroll along the 2km pier and explore the local arts & craft shops. This afternoon you will have free time to explore the beautiful surroundings of the luxurious Pullman Bunker Bay before our included group dinner this evening.

DAY 4 Tuesday 15th November Bunker Bay
Join Caroline for an optional early morning walk along the Cape to Cape Trail, starting from the resort. Enjoy your well earnt breakfast at the restaurant before we start our exploration of the Margaret River district. Family owned Leeuwin Estate is one of the founding wineries of the area, and is our first Margaret River winery tasting. We will participate in the Leeuwin Estate Immersion Experience, a relaxed and informative introduction to Leeuwin Estate. This includes morning tea and a tour of the Leeuwin Art Gallery. The experience will conclude with tutored Wine and Food tasting flights, showcasing five wines perfectly paired with West Australian delicacies from the restaurant’s seasonal menu. We will return to the Margaret River township where you will have free time to explore the shops and have lunch. Our next stop for today is at Ginversity at the Margaret River Gin Distillery, where we sample Gin that reflects the flavours of Australia’s South West and enjoy a Distillery Tour. This evening we will travel to the small coastal town of Dunsborough where you can choose to dine at the local pub or one of the local restaurants.

DAY Wednesday 16th November Bunker Bay
Our morning is active with a visit to the mouth of the Margaret River, where it meets the Indian Ocean, and we can enjoy a short walk taking in the spectacular ocean views. The Mammoth Cave is a natural time capsule, home to ancient fossil remains. We have the opportunity to explore the cave with a self guided audio tour. Cape Mentelle Wines is one of the 5 founding vineyards in the Margaret River region. Here we can enjoy the Private Barrel Room Tastings of their award winning wines.

Our final stop for today is Xanadu Winery, where we enjoy more tastings before a lovely two-course lunch at the one chef hatted restaurant, nestled amongst the vineyards. The remainder of your afternoon is free to relax and explore at the Pullman Bunker Bay

DAY 6 Thursday 17th November Margaret River
We meet Caroline’s Uncle, Tony Terry, at his childhood home, the National Trust listed “Ellensbrook Homestead”. Enjoy a personalised tour of the grounds and discover the history of this homestead,with an optional walk to the waterfall. Next enjoy a tour of Cullen’s Winery and sample wine from one of the original Margaret River wineries. We visit the Beer Farm, which prides itself on being built from the ground up as nature intended. They produce great beer and even run a herd of cattle! You will be able to sample the brews with an included lunch, while taking in the beautiful scenery. This afternoon we are treated to wine tasting and nibbles, hosted by Caroline’s sister Brigid in the beautiful garden of her Cowaramup Farm. Brigid and her partner Owen run beef cattle on a small picturesque farm. You can opt for a farm tour, or head straight for the fire pit to relax and watch the sun go down on your last evening in Margaret River, enjoying the home and hospitality of Caroline’s friendly family.

DAY 7 Friday 18th November Fremantle
Fremantle Enjoy an optional early morning walk on the Coast to Coast Trail with Caroline before breakfast. Today we say goodbye to the Margaret River region, but not before one last winery visit at Capel Vale. This was the first winery in Western Australia to own and establish vineyards in the cool climate regions of Margaret River, Mount Barker and Geographe. As a result, Capel Vale now produces wines of definitive regional flavour and varietal expression with a focus on balance, complexity and elegant fruit flavours. We will enjoy tastings and a beautiful lunch before travelling to Fremantle. After we check into our hotel, join Caroline for a walking tour of Fremantle finishing at the waterfront for sunset and a local dinner.

DAY 8 Saturday 19th November Fremantle
As Fremantle has a variety of gourmet cafes and restaurants, breakfast has not been included, so you are free to enjoy your breakfast at leisure at the cafe of your choice. Today we head to Rottnest Island for a day of adventure, in search of the Quokka. Enjoy an active day with Caroline on E-bikes exploring what Rottnest has to offer. If you prefer not to ride, you can travel on the ferry with the group and explore the area around the jetty, and still spot the adorable Quokkas. Tonight we come together to say goodbye for our farewell dinner at a local Fremantle restaurant.

DAY 9 Sunday 20th November Perth Airport
This morning your time in wonderful Western Australia comes to an end as you make your own way to Perth airport for your flight home.
