DAY 1 -16TH FEBRUARY – BRISBANE TO HO CHI MINH
This morning, we will meet at the Brisbane International Airport for our Hosted Holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia.  Today is spent travelling to our first destination, Ho Chi Minh.  Upon arrival this evening, we will meet our local tour guide and transfer to the Pullman Saigon Centre, our home for the next four nights.  This evening, relax and take advantage of the hotel facilities.

DAY 2 -17TH FEBRUARY – HO CHI MINH
Good Morning Vietnam!   After breakfast, we travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels into what was formally a Viet Cong stronghold.  We learn about the network of underground caves which housed the soldiers during the war.  You will get a chance to enter the caves and learn about the soldier’s life, all hidden from the enemy.  The afternoon will be at your leisure before we meet for a group dinner.

DAY 3 - 18TH FEBRUARY – HO CHI MINH
Today enjoy a full day trip starting with Vinh Nghiem. We will explore the historic Reunification Palace, a symbol of South Vietnamese Government, and witness where the war concluded in 1975. Next it’s time to explore the architecture of Ho Chi Minh before we visit the War Remnants Museum and Cholon.   Our day trip finishes with a cyclo ride through Cholon's narrow streets to intriguing Binh Tay market.

DAY 4 - 19TH FEBRUARY – HO CHI MINH
A day of leisure awaits us today.   Take some time to relax poolside or explore the city in more depth, even shop until you drop but be sure to have some energy in reserve for our evening adventure.  Get ready for a fascinating ride on our included optional vintage vespa tonight to discover busy Ho Chi Minh after dark, together with beautiful street foods tasting in the most authentic local restaurants. If you prefer not to travel by vespa, alternative transport is available. We continue to zig zag through the bustling streets which become busy at night and sample several food and drinks stalls.  We finish our evening at a cozy hidden bar tasting signature cocktails before returning to our hotel.

DAY 5 20TH FEBRUARY – HOI AN
Today we fly to Da Nang and travel by coach to Hoi An.  Upon arrival we will be transferred to the Little Oasis Hotel for our three-night stay. Once you’ve settled in, you might like to sip a cool tropical drink while enjoying the panoramic views over the river and rice fields near our hotel.  Later we will meet for a group dinner.

DAY 6 - 21ST FEBRUARY – HOI AN
This morning, enjoy a half day walking discovery tour with a local guide, exploring the ancient town. We visit former merchant homes, colourful communal halls, narrow lanes lined with traditional houses and the iconic Japanese Bridge.  After experiencing the charming backstreets of Hoi An we visit the Folklore Museum. This four-hour tour allows you to rest for the afternoon and your evening is at leisure.

Day 7 - 22ND FEBRUARY – HOI AN
Today we explore the hidden beauty of Vietnam on a day-long tour of the majestic Ba Na Hills. We begin today with a cable car ride to the top of the mist-covered summit. We view the magnificent Linh Ung Pagoda and the Giant Buddha statue before heading to the elegant and colourful flower garden at the Le Jardin D'Amour.  We take a walk along the stunning 150-metre long Golden Bridge, held up by giant moss-covered hands and marvel at the breath-taking views.  Afterwards we visit an old French village in the middle of the distinctively Vietnamese mountains.  Your evening is free to explore the local restaurants of Hoi An.

Day 8 - 23RD FEBRUARY – HANOI
We bid farewell to Hoi An this morning and travel by coach back to Danang for our flight north to Hanoi.  Upon arrival in Hanoi we will be transferred to the Hotel de lÓpera. You might like to spend some time exploring as our hotel is located just 3 minutes' walk from the Old Quarter and Opera House. This evening, we enjoy a group dinner.

Day 9 - 24TH FEBRUARY – HA LONG BAY
This morning sees us travelling to the Ha Long Cruise port to embark on the Ambassador I for an overnight cruise.   After lunch our first excursion takes us to visit Luon Cave then visit Titov Island where we can climb its’ peak for a stunning 360-degree view of the bay and its limestone casts.   After an afternoon or cruising and exploring, enjoy a sundown happy hour before the Chef's special dinner followed by live music in the Piano Lounge to finish off the day.

Day 10 - 25TH FEBRUARY – HANOI
We can start today with a Taichi session on the Sundeck then explore Sung Sot Cave, marveling at the thousand-year-old stalactites.  After breakfast we will disembark and return to Hanoi to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11 - 26TH FEBRUARY – HANOI
This morning we take a half day tour to visit to the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum to learn about “Uncle Ho” and see the one pillar pagoda and the presidential palace. Next, we visit the 11th century relic, the Temple of Literature, which was built to honour the Chinese scholar Confucius. We will enjoy a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter’s 36 streets and visit the Ngoc Son temple set on a tiny island on the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake. Our tour ends with a delightful water puppet show. After a busy morning of sightseeing, this afternoon and evening are at your leisure.

Day 12 - 27TH FEBRUARY – SIEM REAP
Today we leave Hanoi and travel on an afternoon flight to Siem Reap.  Our hotel is in the heart of Siem Reap and is convenient walking distance to the famous Pub Street and Old Market.   This evening is at your leisure as we have an early start in the morning for our sunrise tour.

Day 13 - 28TH FEBRUARY – SIEM REAP
This morning we rise with the dawn to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument.  We marvel at this majestic temple which stands as a testament to Cambodia's rich history. We see the enchanting Ta Prohm, where ancient ruins intertwine with the roots of towering banyan trees. After lunch, we venture to the South Gate of Angkor Thom.  We explore the magnificent Khmer temple and then climb to the summit of Phimeanakas where we can view the sprawling Angkor ruins below.  This afternoon you can relax and reflect on our picture-perfect day.

Day 14 - 1ST MARCH – SIEM REAP
Today we take a half day trip to Kompong Khleang, a village uniquely built atop stilts on Tonle Sap Lake.   This village, the home to approximately 6,000 residents, is where boats replace cars and canals replace roads. This evening our final dinner will be unforgettable as we attend a performance of traditional Cambodian Apsara Dance and have a chance to look back over the shared magical experiences of the past two weeks.

Day 15 - 2ND MARCH – SIEM REAP TO BRISBANE
Enjoy a relaxing last morning at our resort, perhaps do some last-minute shopping!   We transfer to the airport for our flights back to Australia.  This evening will be spent in the air enroute back to Brisbane.

Day 16 - 3RD MARCH – ARRIVE BRISBANE
Our Hosted Holiday adventure in Vietnam and Cambodia has come to an end and it is time to farewell our new friends and head for home with amazing memories.
